The tech can then only pull codes and can't clear them, and truck is in derate mode until owner calls the number and gets a code put in the network to remove the derate. The customer then has to call the number. The customer who owns the vehicle will then receive a print out of who, what, how, and why of warranty void with a number to call. Then a notice comes up that says "warranty voided" in big letters. (that is the esc you are using to connect) It then pulls up all the stamps of who connected and shows what they changed in a special file that gets sent. It then loads to the manufacturer and pulls your node id.
If there is a change, you get a warning that the ECM has been "footprinted" and a code goes into the ecm. It then sends that information to the network and after the check, the tech can move on.

Oh, how the software worked, when you hook up it does a full system scan on the truck. So probably what you need is a patched DLL to work in a higher level.

Indeed KG can make keys from Level 1 to 15 and I would say there is no difference between 3 to 15, for example, Install DDDL and enter a level 3 to 15 license on it, you'll see that DDDL will work on Level 1 even if it has a level 15 license, same for DDRS, it will work as Level 2 by default, the modded DLL to make an offline activation it's patched to make it work at level 3 on the newer version that is posted on this forum. Maybe there's a combination like crazy60 says, read level 3 and write level 4 that I haven't tried yet. I haven't spent a lot of time using DDDE but I don't see a lot of difference between levels 3 and 15.
The 7x KG that says "coded by Dee" produces keys for read write levels 1 through 15 and the ones I have checked say hardware level 4. So, the functions we're getting from DDDE with the 7x KG is all DDDE is capable of doing, do you agree?
